If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent or 1-2 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Linen Distribution
  • Supplemental Linen Distribution. Not all linen deliveries will be scheduled. Sometimes supplemental linen supply will be needed to top off linen levels for a department. Either it will be delivered to an already established linen distribution schedule or it might be a special request for a department. Linen techs will be required to receive special linen requests through either phone or email. They are required to fill these special linen orders and report those out as well.
  • Processes linen delivery paper work into computer.
  • Stocking of linen inventory in linen rooms The linen rooms house all the of the linen for the distribution of linens to all linen receiving locations. Linen must be stocked either before the shift begins or after the shift is over. Morning or evening stocking will be contingent on a need by need basis. The dock will receive bulk linen for the hospital daily and the tech will be responsible for its transportation to the linen rooms as well as the stocking of linen inventory. Occasionally, linen items will have to be folded/refolded. The techs will be required to proficient with this task as well.
  • Fills emergency stock and patient care orders.
