About The Position

The Linen Technician is responsible for all functions in the Linen Area including inventory and replenishment. All par-stock deliveries will be recorded and turned in at the end of the shift. Ability to track Scrub-Ex machine par levels, restock/empty machines as assigned. Keep department organized. Answer department phone when assigned, respond promptly to requests. All other tasks necessary to achieve complete customer satisfaction. Duties assigned may be in either tower of hospital or both.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Required to read, speak, write, do simple mathematical calculations, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to count and record linen delivered.
• Must have physical ability to push and pull carts safely, stock carts, deliver linen to all areas.
• Must be able to spend considerable amount of time each shift standing and walking.
