About The Position

The position involves delivering clean linen carts to the floor, picking up dirty linen, and ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient. The individual will maintain all linen records for reporting and accountability and must have a thorough knowledge of all processes on all shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education or (1) one year work experience

• Basic knowledge in use of computers and ability to learn appropriate software applications
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate computerized inventory system
• Ability to use hand-held scanner to issue and track inventory
• Able to react calmly under stressful conditions
• Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and co-workers to solve complex problems
• Ability to work independently, using judgment and problem-solving skills as necessary to resolve customer service issues and order discrepancies
