About The Position

The position involves responsibilities related to the management of linen inventory within a facility. The individual will be responsible for delivering clean linen carts to the floor, picking up dirty linen, and ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient. Additionally, the role requires maintaining all linen records for reporting and accountability. A thorough knowledge of all processes on all shifts is essential for success in this position.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge in use of computers and ability to learn appropriate software applications
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate computerized inventory system
• Ability to use hand-held scanner to issue and track inventory
• Able to react calmly under stressful conditions
• Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and co-workers
• Ability to work independently, using judgment and problem solving skills as necessary
