About The Position

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our linen management team! Process, distribute, and collect linen throughout the hospital. Provide excellent quality linen that supports a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping or laundry experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

Participate in the forecast of expenses and the planning and execution of budgets
Support positive customer relations and patient satisfaction
Produce weekly linen usage reports and create action plans to achieve goals
Follow all HHS and regulatory linen procedures and best practices
Act as a liaison for regulatory surveyors and operating committees
Provide education for nursing and other departments on proper linen use
Monitor and consult on HHS linen distribution and safety policies and procedures
Assist with the delivery of clean linen as needed
Monitor and assist with linen savings initiatives in order to meet goals
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
