About The Position

Knowledgeable in aseptic techniques, sterilization principles, sterile storage and inventory rotation. Familiar with surgical linen, surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment. Ability to perform precise, detail work in a timely manner.Participates in creating a safety culture by always optimizing safety. Must be able to hear and communicate effectively. Must have manual dexterity and visual acuity. Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 25lbs or more with proper body mechanics. Endurance ability to perform all duties assigned of schedule work shift.

Requirements

• High School Graduate / GED
• Must be able to hear and communicate effectively.
• Must have manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs or more with proper body mechanics.
• Endurance ability to perform all duties assigned of schedule work shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in linen, inventory management, experience in laundry and/or housekeeping or other Warehouse not required but preferred
• Experience in an operating room setting or in sterile storage, not required but preferred
