The Linen Service Aide, (Laundry Worker) is responsible for the operations of linen distribution and collections Reports to: Supervisor, Environmental Services Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: • Responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling the production of hospital linens, linen distribution, soiled linen collection, sort/separating, washing, and processing of all linens • Perform inspections of linen prior to distribution to ensure cleanliness and high- quality service that supports the mission and values of UMC • Provide superior customer service to patients and hospital staff
