About The Position

A beloved hotel with an enviable oceanfront location is now even better, following a $50 million renovation. Our newly redesigned Loews Miami Beach Hotel includes all-new touchpoints throughout the property. Welcome to a South Beach Icon, Reimagined. The purpose of this position is to support and assist Housekeeping and Laundry as assigned. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Maintain all linen rooms clean, stocked and organized according to linen needs Provides Laundry Manager with inventory of linen rooms at 3pm daily Notifies a manager promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance Handle guest with excellent guest relation skills Attend all departmental meetings as scheduled Perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner Is polite, friendly, and helpful Supportive Functions and Responsibilities Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules Recycles whenever possible Remains current with hotel information and changes Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards

Requirements

  • Basic English skills required
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 150 lbs
  • Must be able to bend and stand for prolonged periods
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Housekeeping experience an asset
  • Previous Housekeeping experience is an asset
