About The Position

This individual operates laundry truck and delivers linens to off-site user areas; delivers linens and picks up soiled linens at off-site user areas. Builds and distributes exchange carts at off-site user areas.

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions
• On the job training provided
• Clear driving record; no moving violations
• Willing to work some weekends and evening shift and holidays if needed

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or GED equivalent highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Drives truck and delivers exchange carts with clean linens to off-site user areas
• Folds bath towels, blankets, thermal blankets, gowns and other laundry
• Loads and sets up exchange carts to be delivered to user and ancillary departments
• Sorts and stocks linen items
• Stocks linen closet on nursing
• Make special deliveries to departments upon request
• Picks up exchange carts from user departments daily
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Picks up soiled linens in carts
