About The Position

Receives, processes, and provides quality linens to patients and allied health staff throughout Mayo Clinic Hospital in a safe and efficient manner. Operates equipment safely and in accordance with operating instructions. Utilizes computer and or hand held units for tracking linen. Monitors linen and physical area for cleanliness. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to stand, bend, push, pull, twist and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a repeated basis.
• Must be able to move heavy carts (up to 400 pounds) and operate other mechanical equipment.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is not eligible for F-1 OPT STEM extension.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• A minimum of one year linen distribution/handling experience preferred.
