The purpose of this position is to provide an adequate supply of clean linen to all departments and to remove soiled linen in a timely manner from all departments. Linen Assistants have contact with other hospital staff members, visitors, and patients, and must be able to communicate effectively. They must follow Safety Policies and Procedures at all times. They must attend work regularly without being tardy. They must follow all Infection Control Policies and Procedures. They must practice confidentiality concerning patients, staff, and the public at all times.
