About The Position

The Linen Aide position cleans and sanitizes all linen that the residents come in contact with to ensure infection control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to have continuous oral and written communication with patients, co-workers, and supervisors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort and pick up all dirty linen from all wings.
• Wash and dry all linens according to set temps.
• Fold and deliver all linens to individual wings.
• Keep linen closets stocked and organized.
• Let supervisor know when new items need reordered.
• Deliver personal clothing to residents.
• Make sure residents' closets are organized so staff can find clothing easy.
• Clean work area daily.
• Fill soaps, clean dryers of lint, and disinfect work area.
• Perform other duties as requested.
