Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Completed a Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program or equivalent training program approved by APS.
• One year of experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
• Valid manual transmission Commercial Driver's License (Class 'A') with DOT compliance.
• Experience working on distribution lines and related equipment.
• Ability to work with aerial equipment with weight restrictions of 300 lbs or less.
• Must live within a reasonable distance of headquarters (one hour).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced electrical systems.
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in high voltage environments.

Responsibilities

• Work on all types of distribution lines including 4kv to 21kv and related equipment.
• Operate aerial equipment while adhering to weight restrictions.
• Pass written and hands-on exams to demonstrate climbing skills and technical knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
