About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) or ability to acquire it within 120 days of start date.
• Successful completion of the EEI CAST Assessment.
• Commitment to safety, quality work, and customer service.
• Ability to respond to after hour and weekend call outs.
• Mental competence to communicate and comprehend instructions.
• Teamwork attitude and ability to work with others.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver up to 90 lbs, climb poles up to 100' tall, and perform aerial work safely.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and operate high voltage distribution and transmission lines.
• Support maintenance and emergency repairs of distribution and transmission lines.
• Attend 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year apprentice schools as required.
