As a Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight between Southeastern’s Service Center or designated points in-between. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer combination (single or double) across urban, suburban, and rural areas, and in all types of weather conditions. Key duties include receiving and verifying dispatch instructions, verifying loads against shipping documents, and, when hauling hazardous material, verifying product descriptions, addressing paperwork discrepancies, and ensuring proper placarding. All tasks must be performed with a focus on superior customer service and professionalism.
