About The Position

Caruso is a family owned, 4th generation company that delivers fresh ready-to-eat, and pre-cut produce, sandwiches, salads, and fresh meal kits to retail distribution centers and direct-to-retail stores all over the USA and we are growing! Job Summary: The line worker will pack or package a variety of products by hand from a conveyor belt.

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to assess products for quality compliance.
• Good time management skills.
• Basic understanding of principles and processes of customer service.
• One year of general work experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Counts, measures, and weighs products.
• Removes defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas for handling.
• Lines product on packaging material using hands.
• Examines containers, products, and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met.
• Stacks boxes on pallets.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
