About The Position

The Full Time Line Worker position involves working on a state-of-the-art production line for wrapping and packaging cheese products. The role requires compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and established safety rules and regulations. The position includes various shifts, with core hours defined for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, and may require Saturday hours depending on production and staffing needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.
• Must be able to give and accept constructive criticism and work as a team player.
• Responsible for maintaining a professional image with customers, peers, supervisors, and the public.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Education beyond High School would be a plus.
• Prior manufacturing and/or packaging experience would also be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Feed cheese onto production line for wrapping and packaging.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and safety regulations.
• Set up and operate scales to weigh product for packaging.
• Pack cheese product into boxes, stack boxes on pallets, and inspect packages for good seals and code dates.
• Utilize box erecting, case sealing, and labeling equipment.
• Perform sanitation of the work area and equipment as needed.

Benefits

• Compensation for overtime work at the rate of time and one half for hours worked over 8 in a day or 40 in a week.
