As a Line Trainer you’ll identify, develop, and provide high quality technical training, enabling new and current employees to effectively perform their jobs.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certification: Training within Industry (TWI) Job Instruction Train the Trainer Certified (Level 1 Preferred).
  • System Experience: Experience utilizing a Learning Management System.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Skills: Ability to manage multiple training priorities in fact-paced warehouse environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Train non-exempt warehouse employees on processes and technology.
  • Partner with leaders to identify appropriate technical training and development needs.
  • Ensure TWI is used as a standard for operations training, provide TWI Job Instruction training, and coach employees on creating job breakdown sheets and instructing effectively through the Job Instruction methodology.
  • Perform audits to minimize technical training gaps.
  • Contribute to the training effectiveness and quality notification process.
  • Provide analysis and metrics regarding learning effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the recruitment process by carrying out dexterity tests for potential employees.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in current training materials and procedures, and implement modifications.
  • Participate in LEAN events and courses to obtain LEAN Level 1 Certification.
