We're looking for a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) who has valid Airframe & Powerplant certification to join our Technical Operations team in one of United's domestic HUBS.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED/Educational Equivalent.
  • FAA A&P License.
  • Valid US Drivers License.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen upon contingent job offer.
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to train.
  • Ability to access elevated aircraft areas via ladders, lift trucks, boom lifts and other devices.
  • Strength to lift 50 pounds, physical flexibility and the ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong mechanical competence and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components.
  • Handle a wide variety of duties including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, as well as routine maintenance.
  • Collaborate professionally and seamlessly with co-workers.
  • Work outdoors and handle weather extremes.
