About The Position

Proud Source Water is looking for a Line Technician to join our team. This role is based in Marianna, Florida and will report to the Shift Lead Tech. Certified B Corporation since 2018 • This is truly Water Done Different. SCOPE OF POSITION: Line Tech’s are tasked to produce all products that Proud Source Water, LLC has developed and approved. Line Tech’s are to produce all products according to spec and follow all polices & procedures while doing so.

Requirements

Experience: 1–4 years of experience in bottling, beverage, food, or manufacturing environments.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for long periods of up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and bend or stoop frequently.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Depalletizer: 1. Loading the depalletizer or notifying forklift operator when a new pallet is needing to be loaded. 2. Dispersing the bottles onto the conveyor 3. Stacking slip sheets 4. Keeping conveyor fully loaded at all times
Rinse Cage: 1. Monitoring the rinse cage to ensure proper cleansing/rinsing of the bottles is occurring 2. Monitoring the rinse cage for consistent bottle back pressure to prevent bottle drops through rails
Inline Filler: 1. Monitoring the filler to ensure bottle alignment & back pressure are adequate. 2. Monitoring sensors 3. Monitoring fill levels via Filler/Capper Operator line check
Capper: 1. Monitoring device for alarms 2. Monitoring torque levels via Filler/Capper Operator line check 3. Ensuring correct caps are in use 4. Monitoring for line backups, crushed & stuck bottles.
Case Erector: 1. Monitoring machine to ensure consistent production is capable 2. Loading and monitoring tray levels 3. Monitoring for back ups, tipped, stuck, crushed bottles. 4. Monitoring folding & gluing of trays and flaps to ensure there is no glue leakage or ripped trays.
Poly Pack Case Wrapper: 1. Monitoring the machine to ensure consistent production 2. Monitoring shrink wrap usage and placement on the cases 3. Loading new rolls of shrink wrap 4. Monitoring for alarms and backups to prevent case crashes and crushed bottles.
Pallet Stackers: 1. Transferring finished cases from the conveyor to a pallet and stacking in the correct configuration. 2. Monitoring cases for unacceptable bottles, trays and case wrapping 3. Starting & Stopping Pallets via scanned QR codes in the WMS 4. Logging inventory lot numbers as needed
Lantech: 1. Applying corner guards to finished pallets 2. Stretch wrapping finished pallets 3. Monitoring lantech settings to ensure proper wrapping (load and height) 4. Labeling wrapped pallet with correct date 5. Labeling each pallet with fragile stickers 6. Ensuring the correct QR code is placed with the finished pallet before being transferred to the floor.
