About The Position

The Line Technician at United Airlines is responsible for providing service and maintenance for aircraft systems, including Powerplant, Airframe, and Components. This role involves a variety of tasks such as inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and routine maintenance to ensure the fleet is flight-ready. The position requires strong mechanical competence and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions. The technician will be part of a collaborative team within the Technical Operations department, contributing to the maintenance of some of the largest and most sophisticated aircraft in the world.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED/Educational Equivalent
• FAA A&P License
• Valid US Drivers License
• Computer literacy
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to train
• Ability to access elevated aircraft areas via ladders, lift trucks, and boom lifts
• Strength to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe, and Components.
