About The Position

As a Line Support, you will produce and package products in a production area. You must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Line support will rotate to different lines as scheduled by management. This is a full-time position with the hours being 5:00pm-3:30am with working days being, Monday- Thursday with frequent overtime on Friday and Saturday. This team member will work within established guidelines and standards to produce the highest quality product in a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

  • Manufacture and pack products.
  • Maintain proper inventory counts.
  • Check scales to ensure correct weights including performing proper allergen washes and product washes.
  • Ensure the inspection of peanuts, pretzels, and other products for quality.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Review bags for accuracy.
  • Move and empty pallets of products.
  • Maintain a clean working environment including sweeping the floor and ensuring the scale is clean.
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed, and all proper PPE is worn when needed.
  • Assure a consistent high level of conformance with sanitation standards.
  • Regular punctual attendance.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and as required.
  • Ability to maintain acceptable standards of conduct.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact with all functions within the plant and the ability to work directly with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to verbally communicate proficiently in English to effectively engage with internal teams.
  • Applicant must be proficient in reading and understanding English-language manuals, equipment, instructions, and other documents relevant to the role.

  • Previous production experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate inventory counts of products as well as correctly record lot numbers, date codes and other product information.
  • Prepare supplies, products, and set up appropriate equipment for the next order.
  • Ensure that all metal detectors are working properly and troubleshoot machine problems as they arise.
  • Check equipment to ensure it meets all health and safety regulations.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or management.
