About The Position
The Line Service position at Conagra Brands involves providing essential support to the production line by ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of production and ensuring that the quality of the food products meets the company's high standards. Employees in this position will be responsible for servicing lines with various food items, including meats, vegetables, and other ingredients as required. The job requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with team leaders and other staff members. In this role, you will be expected to stand for the duration of a 10-12 hour shift, which requires physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items, often exceeding 40 lbs. Responsibilities include obtaining ingredients from storage, visually inspecting items for quality defects, and maintaining accurate records or statistical charts as needed. The position also involves cross-training within all job functions of the department, which enhances versatility and team support. Candidates must be able to read and write in English and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. This position is full-time and operates on a first shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured work environment with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
