About The Position

The Line Service Technician (LST) is a customer service role focused on providing essential services for general aviation aircraft, crews, and passengers. The position involves operating ground service equipment and ensuring efficient service delivery while adhering to safety and operational protocols. LSTs work collaboratively with team members and customers to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and meet service needs effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid state driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Ability to complete Signature's training programs.
• Ability to pass a color vision test for inspecting aviation fuel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic operations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Three to six months of experience in aviation, customer service, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Safely conduct flight line operations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service while assisting aircraft crews and passengers.
• Operate ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, and tugs.
• Service aircraft as requested, including fueling, de-icing, and lavatory services.
• Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
• Drive shuttle vehicles with passengers and cargo.
• Load and unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
• Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
• Recommend improvements to operational standards and procedures.
