About The Position

Summary: Cutter Aviation is currently searching for an energetic and knowledgeable member of our Line Service team. The Line Service/Fuel QC Technician must be an exceptional relationship builder with the drive to provide world-class customer service with respect to activities on the ramp and interfaces with customers, pilots, passengers, senior staff and regulatory agencies. Additionally, the Line Service/Fuel QC Technician is responsible for the quality standards of our fuel.

Requirements

Prior Quality Control experience.
Basic knowledge in academic arithmetic; addition and subtraction.
Basic analog clock interpretation.
Excellent Customer Service, Organizational, Training, and Communication Skills. Initiative.
Desire to be part of a team. Able to develop a friendly rapport.
Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including heat, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Testing fuel samples for the ATA-103 and ASTM Fuel Quality Standards.
Receiving fuel loads.
Compliance with A4A fuel quality.
Pumping fuel pits.
Completes reports, prepares for and participates in audits.
Fueling aircraft.
Driving refueling trucks, and towing equipment.
Connect hoses and operate equipment to move liquid materials into and out of storage tanks or vessels.
Towing aircraft in and out of hangar.
Assisting passengers and pilots with loading and unloading luggage and transportation needs.
General system servicing and cleaning.
Assurance of proper FAA and TSA rules and regulations are followed.
Perform airfield management activities, which may include escorting passengers and or crew-members airfield via different traveling modes i.e., walking or driving of company or rental vehicle.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

Fueling aircraft.
Drive refueling trucks and towing equipment.
Connect hoses and operate equipment to move liquid materials into and out of storage tanks on vessels.
Towing and repositioning aircraft in and out of hangars.
Assisting passengers and pilots with luggage Load and unload and transportation needs.
General system servicing and cleaning.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Confer with customers in person and provide information about products and services, to take orders, or to obtain details of complaints.
Use of proper FAA and TSA rules and regulations are followed.
Perform airfield management activities, which may include escorting passengers and or crew-members airfield via different traveling modes i.e. walking or driving of company vehicle. Driving of passengers and or crew members on and off airfield to designation i.e. hotel, main airport, aircraft. etc.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Operates and directs the daily operations of the aviation Fuel Storage Facility.
Manages and Manages and orders fuel inventory, keeping the facility tanks at adequate levels.
ReceiveRReceives bulk aviation fuel deliveries and tests the fuel before acceptance to ensure adherence to ATA 103 and the Airport’s qualitative fuel standards.
Complete reCompletes required daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual equipment and facility maintenance and operation checks/inspections.
May serve in lead role by operating and/or directing daily operations for the coordination and direction of a line service shift or the aviation fuel storage operations, including a wide variety of aircraft servicing, ground handling, and related aviation and airport service activities.
Performs and/or participates in a wide variety of aircraft servicing, ground handling and related aviation and airport service activities to provide complete, safe, efficient and high-quality support to aircrews, passengers, airport tenants and others.
Completes daily/periodic equipment and facility maintenance and operation checks, and records results on appropriate form(s). Marshals/greets aircraft and their flight crews and passengers, records service orders, assists with passenger boarding and deplaning and takes other appropriate actions to satisfy and complete order requirements promptly and accurately.
Performs minor maintenance on ramp service equipment and facilities, and assures all adhere to established appearance, operation and safety standards.
Responds to a wide variety of routine and emergency operational situations as they arise and as instructed by supervisory personnel, while maintaining a positive, professional image of the Airport at all times.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
