About The Position

TelevisaUnivision Network News is looking for an experienced Line Producer to support News. This position will be responsible for managing the line production of a daily show, supporting executive producer with production and team management. Editorial contribution is also an essential part of the position. ABOUT YOU: Responsible for daily rundown, story placement, editorial input and writing. Executing timing of live shows in control room and making last minute decisions. Development and production of daily news graphics. Quick reaction to breaking news and possible show news updates Work on special news coverage and field coordination. Maintain communication with assignment desk, production and technical crews. Must be able to back-time show, adjust rundowns effortlessly while on air YOU HAVE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism or Communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism or Communications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience line producing/producing.
• Knowledge of current events
• News writing skills
• Attention to detail, strong communication a must
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish
• Excellent Spanish grammar
