About The Position

Join our operations team at Sortera Technologies, where you’ll play a key part in keeping our advanced recycling and material-sorting lines running smoothly. As a Line Operator, you’ll help ensure materials are processed accurately, equipment is monitored safely, and production goals are met on time. This is work where you’ll leave every day knowing you helped turn waste into valuable resources!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic math skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to stay on task with limited supervision

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating conveyor feed machinery or working with recycled materials preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Load and operate machines
• Clear and prevent jams in machines
• Weigh out finished materials – record and document weights and downtime
• Record and document potential safety, quality, and production issues
• Troubleshoot minor issues with the machine and communicate with the maintenance department
• Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements
• Keep assigned work area clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned
