Requirements

High school education or GED equivalent is required.
Ability to read a tape measure
Recent manufacturing experience is preferred.
Work is performed on the plant floor with frequent contact with others.
Requires a positive team-oriented attitude and communication skills.
Must also be able to multi-task, with little direction while maintaining a high attention to details.
Requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, stooping and stretching, manual dexterity.
Required to occasionally ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs over extremely fast-moving machinery.
Occasional lifing up to 50 pounds.
Required to safely access fast moving machinery, which includes rolls with inward nip points.
Knowledge of and skills in the use of computer, copiers and business procedures.
Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Safety – Performs all tasks in a safe manner, wearing required PPE and following all safety regulations. Near-miss reporting participation
Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach
Meet productivity standards
Complete required documentation
Troubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine
Make adjustments to machinery as needed
Suggest improvements to processes or procedures
Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leaders and Sr. Process Engineers for issues and improvements
Perform 5S and other housekeeping duties required for clean and safe work environment
Obtain and maintain at least three Certifications
Train others as needed
