About The Position

Responsible for manufacturing of safe and quality products by following Production Work Orders, occupational and food safety policies and procedures as well as efficiencies of the line and performance of packers.

Requirements

No previous experience required. Trainable
High School Diploma preferred
Basic English competency
Must lift up to 50lbs without assistance

Responsibilities

Operates all machines within the line efficiently
Follows Production Work Order instructions, provides lines with required components
Assures line performance and labor efficiencies match established standards
Issues components and reports production
Follows food safety, occupational safety and GMP requirements
Reports all machine breakdowns and malfunctions to expeditor and maintenance. Works with maintenance to facilitate repairs
Cleans the line, leads changeovers, engages packers in distribution of tasks during startup of the line, changeovers, shut down and line clearance
Performs in line checks for fill, package and seal integrity, completes required documentation, assures accuracy of lot and expiration date information of manufactured products
Supports company's efforts in implementation of new technologies and manufacturing processes
Supports positive work environment and reports negative performance
Completes other work as assigned
