Line Operators are responsible for coordinating the proper process baths and materials needed to produce the highest quality product for our customers. This position directly contributes to production goals which impact bonuses. Some key aspects to know about the Line Operator position are: $19/hr. starting rate. You'll also receive a shift differential when you start working on 2nd Shift - some training may be required on 1st shift. Opportunity for wage review at 90 days. For 2nd Shift, you'll work Monday afternoons through Friday evenings (3pm - 11pm) - but there are occasional opportunities for overtime hours. You'll collaborate directly with supervisors, quality teams, chemistry techs, and others throughout the workday. The facility can get very warm in the summer and cold in the winter - depending on outside temperatures. Your day is primarily focused on utilizing the overhead crane on your assigned production line to process customer products through a series of chemical baths that create the metal finish needed. You'll support other staff on the line and complete all necessary documentation (using a computer) for proper processing of the order. Our processes involve a complex range of chemicals, so it's important to be comfortable around chemicals and be proficient in English for communication and ensuring your safety.
