About The Position
The Medina County Sanitary Engineer is currently accepting applications for an opening in the Line Maintenance Division. Applicants should have a background in the construction and maintenance of water distribution and sewer collection systems. Typical work duties will include the repair and replacement of water and sanitary sewer mains, hydrant flushing and repair, water taps and service line installation within the right-of-way, television inspections of sanitary sewer lines, as well as other assorted duties directed by supervisors. Working mainly in an outdoor environment, being in a standing, crouched, kneeling, or crawling position of a frequent basis, and lifting up to 50 pounds in any given day. Performing confined space entries and traffic control on a routine basis.
