About The Position

The Power Plant Division Line Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance on various types of aircraft engines. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft systems and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The mechanic will troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems in accordance with approved data and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with FAA and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must hold an Airframe and Power Plant License or Power Plant License.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills pertinent to turbine engines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance on various types of aircraft engines as instructed by Lead.
  • Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Structural Repair Manuals, Safety Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, and blueprints.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems and repair them in accordance with approved data.
  • Remove and replace parts using approved data.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft systems.
  • Follow safety rules and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work area at all times.
