POSITION SUMMARY: Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm The Line Loader and Unloader organizes, sorts, and prioritizes core material, ensuring that the product is processed within the Customer’s specified time for the warehouse. The Line Loader and Unloader is also responsible for coordinating the disposal or re-use of the packaging that accumulates throughout the loading and unloading process.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Competent oral and written communication skills
- Competent addition and subtraction math skills
- Competent literacy skills in order to read tags without transposing part numbers
Nice To Haves
- Powered Industrial Truck Certified Preferred
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Personal Protective Equipment(PPE), preventing incidents or injury to self or others
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
- Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas using a forklift and/or pallet jack in the warehouse
- Loads materials on and off inspection lines while periodically using a hoist
- Determine the placement of material based on labels or other markings
- Other duties as assigned
