Position Summary: Leads and motivates team quality performance, cost parameters, accuracy and speed within a manufacturing production line environment. Arranges daily team activities to ensure smooth workflow, quality production and timely delivery.

Requirements

Strong leadership capability and experience
Strong manufacturing knowledge (5S, Lean Manufacturing, technical drawing understanding)
General computer skills (Email, Excel)
Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent
Experience: 2+ years of manufacturing experience and people leadership required

Responsibilities

Gives direction and improvement recommendations for manufacturing processes.
Ensures compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
Assists with inventory, packaging, shipping/receiving and general facility maintenance as needed.
Projects staffing for daily and future production needs.
Monitors machinery, processes and work layouts to recommend improvements.
May conduct safety and training programs for the production line.
Mentors line staff and facilitates problem solving.
Maintains and coaches standard work practices across all processes
