Position Summary: Leads and motivates team quality performance, cost parameters, accuracy and speed within a manufacturing production line environment. Arranges daily team activities to ensure smooth workflow, quality production and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership capability and experience
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge (5S, Lean Manufacturing, technical drawing understanding)
  • General computer skills (Email, Excel)
  • Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ years of manufacturing experience and people leadership required

Responsibilities

  • Gives direction and improvement recommendations for manufacturing processes.
  • Ensures compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards.
  • Assists with inventory, packaging, shipping/receiving and general facility maintenance as needed.
  • Projects staffing for daily and future production needs.
  • Monitors machinery, processes and work layouts to recommend improvements.
  • May conduct safety and training programs for the production line.
  • Mentors line staff and facilitates problem solving.
  • Maintains and coaches standard work practices across all processes
