About The Position

Schedule: Monday- Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm) with some weekend work and OT. Qualified Line Lead Filler Operator candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work their bid shift, overtime, and weekends as required. The Line Lead Filler Operator tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, operate a motorized fork lift, prepare packaging, package product and other duties as assigned by supervision. Keep lines stocked with packaging materials. Fill out appropriate paper related to the lines CCP’s, production, packaging materials. Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment. Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line. Operation of CIP skids in addition to breakdown and cleaning of line components. Communicate with supervisor when line is down due to equipment or product supply. Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention. Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating line. Proper start up, running and shut down of line. Proper tear down, cleaning, and reassembling pumps, sanitary lines, and line equipment. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures including PPE required. Knowledge of process flow and ability to trace flow from source tank to filling process. Basic understanding of pumps, valves, and how to change filters. Successfully pass qualification test of that Operator 2 is responsible for.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data
  • Employees are encouraged to participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams

  • Produce accurate documentation
  • Maintain acceptable attendance
  • Will have the opportunity to learn various positions
  • Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies

  • Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights
