About the position
Stratas Foods is seeking a qualified Line Lead Filler Operator to join our team. The position is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with some weekend work and overtime required. The Line Lead Filler Operator will perform a variety of tasks including general housekeeping, equipment operation, and packaging duties. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and quality of our production lines.
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, and painting.
- Lubricate equipment (oiling, greasing, etc.) and retrieve samples.
- Power wash and lift/haul items up and down stairs.
- Dump rework and operate a motorized fork lift.
- Prepare packaging and package products as assigned by supervision.
- Keep lines stocked with packaging materials.
- Fill out appropriate paperwork related to the lines CCP’s, production, and packaging materials.
- Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment.
- Communicate with supervisor regarding line downtime and equipment needs.
- Report and resolve any observed quality issues while operating the line.
- Properly start up, run, and shut down the line.
- Tear down, clean, and reassemble pumps, sanitary lines, and line equipment.
- Understand chemical handling procedures including required PPE.
- Trace process flow from source tank to filling process.
- Understand pumps, valves, and how to change filters.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry.

- Ability to learn and follow written rules and procedures.
- Ability to produce accurate documentation.
