About The Position

The position involves packing finished goods into cases, inspecting products and packaging for defects, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role requires a thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety regulations, and Safety Rules. The employee will operate conveyor belts, weigh packages, label products, and maintain records. Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working weekends and overtime during peak seasons.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good observational skills to spot defective products.
• Ability to work quickly to meet production targets.
• Great team working skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow strict safety guidelines and quality procedures.
• Willingness to work flexibly.
• Working knowledge of packaging principles and practices.
• Skill in packaging a variety of materials according to established routines.

Responsibilities

• Packing finished goods into finished cases.
• Inspecting finished product and packaging for defects.
• Ensuring all finished products meet quality standards.
• Understanding and complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety regulations.
• Operating and maintaining conveyor belts.
• Weighing packages and adjusting quantities as needed.
• Labeling master cases and products.
• Maintaining records and logs per customer requirements.
• Performing backup duties for related positions.
