Richelieu Foods is headquartered in Wheeling, Illinois, and operates three manufacturing facilities across the Midwest (Wheeling, IL; Beaver Dam, WI). The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $17.00 and $19.00. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus, shift differential pay, overtime compensation. This position is based on our Wheeling, IL location.

Requirements

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Alert management about potential hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Proven experience as a Line Feeder, Production Worker, or in a similar role.
  • A keen eye for precision and quality.
  • Commitment to following health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Perform tasks efficiently to meet production targets.
  • Experience handling electric pallet jacks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and maintain a professional working relationship with employees
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless production operations by supplying materials to assembly lines.
  • Maintain an inventory of necessary items and coordinate with production staff to keep the line running efficiently.
  • Proper alignment and positioning of items on the line maximize overall efficiency.
  • Work closely with machine operators. They assist in operating machinery, communicate with production supervisors about any issues, and help avoid mechanical damage to products.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Unload boxes, stack materials, and ensure all necessary items are ready for assembly.
  • Feeders take care to avoid mechanical damage to products during handling and transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
