Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line-Dance Instructor, preferably with a focus on teaching seniors.
- Strong knowledge of various line-dance styles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants..
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
- Ability to adapt choreography and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and physical abilities.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction.
- Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI)
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate line-dance classes suitable for seniors of varying skill levels and physical abilities.
- Create choreography and routines that are fun, and accessible, and promote physical activity and coordination.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure participants understand and can follow the dance steps.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where seniors feel comfortable and encouraged to participate.
- Monitor the progress and well-being of participants, making adjustments to activities as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment within the dance studio.
- Represent Elevation Health on-site and act as a liaison between site management and Elevation Health
