About The Position

XMotive Dance Studio is seeking a dynamic and engaging Line Dancing Choreographer to lead new line dancing classes. This part-time, contract position involves creating choreography, recruiting dancers, and contributing to the studio's vibrant community. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of line dancing styles and a passion for teaching.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a line dancing choreographer or instructor.
• Strong teaching and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate dancers of all skill levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be available for scheduled classes, rehearsals, and performances.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach original line dancing routines for classes and performances.
• Recruit and build a team of line dancers at the studio.
• Work with studio management to organize class schedules and performance opportunities.
• Prepare dancers for performances, including leading rehearsals and providing feedback.
• Attend regular meetings with studio management to discuss program success and areas for improvement.
• Participate in performances at booked and paid events.
