The Line Coordinator in the SVP AS Filling department at Pfizer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing lines. This position is responsible for coordinating production activities, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and leading a team to meet production goals. The role requires effective communication, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a team-based manufacturing environment.

  • Coordinate the operation of manufacturing lines to assure that quality, compliance, safety and production standards are met.
  • Organize and direct the placement of personnel on manufacturing lines, reviewing work order schedules and packages to requisition materials and supplies.
  • Schedule equipment changeovers, perform line clearances, and audit completed work order packages.
  • Ensure that line employees are trained and certified for assigned roles and that they meet job standards.
  • Effectively communicate work instructions and coordinate the work of others.
  • Perform arithmetic calculations as needed.
  • Must have HS/GED Diploma.
  • Must have at least 1 year of production and/or Q.A. experience.
  • Must be certifiable as a controlled drug agent (CDA).
  • Must have the ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
  • Must be conscientious, dependable, and possess leadership skills.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate work instructions and coordinate the work of others.
  • Must be able to work overtime on a daily and weekly basis for extended periods of time.
  • Must adhere to all safety and health practices and procedures.
  • Capable of making sound decisions while assessing situations to determine if management involvement is needed.
  • Candidate must be able to act with ownership in their areas of responsibility.
  • Candidate should be proactive in preventing delays and/or downtime of equipment.
  • Understanding of Lean tools.
  • Thorough understanding of current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory aspects.
