About The Position

Cook up your career and feed your unique journey! We’re looking for the best Chefs in Winston-Salem! Looking for line cooks for pizza, salads, grill and saute. Full availability preferred. Line Cooks are responsible for the food guests rave about! You will prep for and prepare delicious dishes in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Candidates must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with a great attitude and willingness to work hard. At Village Tavern, we’re more than a restaurant—we’re a community. Requirements

Responsibilities

Recipe Adherence
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service in a timely manner
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager’s instructions
Maintain a clean work environment
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, of high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Arrive on time and in clean, pressed uniform with a positive attitude ready to work
