About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW: Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has fine dining experience, strong technical ability, and a commitment to excellence in every dish. This role requires precision, creativity, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional kitchen experience (fine dining preferred)
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and plating
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a high-temperature kitchen environment
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Can communicate well with guests.
  • Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
  • Finger/hand dexterity in order to operate food machinery.
  • Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and plating consistency
  • Assist with station setup
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure timely service
  • Assist with inventory management and proper storage of ingredients
  • Adapt to seasonal menu changes and special event menus
  • Perform other related job duties
