About The Position

Line Cook Smokey’s Manitowish Waters, WI A taste of northern Wisconsin nostalgia, with a modern twist! Smokey’s serves up supper club classics with a welcoming atmosphere and a strong sense of tradition. We’re looking for a dependable Line Cook who takes pride in preparing a great food with fresh ingredients in a close-knit kitchen. Hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 2 PM to 10 PM This position is in Manitowish Waters, WI. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health, sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
• Ability to multitask and communicate clearly when the kitchen gets busy.

Nice To Haves

• Culinary degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality menu items with care, consistency and attention to detail.
• Follow proper food preparation, handling and storing practices.
• Apply fundamental cooking techniques and knife skills to support smooth food service.
• Keep work area neat and clean and maintain food prep equipment.
• Work as part of a small team to deliver a great dining experience.
