Smokin’ Jack BBQ at 3rd Street Market Hall is looking for a high-volume Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and brings energy and focus to every shift. This is not a slow kitchen. If you’re sharp on the grill, move with purpose, and like working as part of a tight team during busy service — you’ll fit right in.

Requirements

  • Proficient on a grill and broiler (required)
  • A team player with a strong work ethic
  • A go-getter who stays productive without being asked
  • Energetic, reliable, and fast on your feet
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open kitchen
  • Must be available nights and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • BBQ experience is a plus
  • POS experience is a plus (training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Execute grilled and broiled menu items quickly and consistently
  • Maintain temperature control and product quality
  • Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
  • Communicate clearly with teammates during peak service
  • Follow food safety and Smokin’ Jack BBQ standards
  • Jump in where needed during high-volume rushes
