About The Position

Hot Line Cook – Join Our Kitchen Team We are seeking a dependable, high-energy Hot Line Cook with proven hot line experience to become a key part of our kitchen. This position is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in consistency and presentation, and enjoys working as part of a tight, fast-moving team.

Requirements

  • Previous hot line or grill experience in a restaurant or high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Read, prioritize, and execute tickets quickly and accurately during high-volume service
  • Confidently operate grill, sauté, fry, and broiler stations
  • Prepare and cook menu items to exact recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards
  • Maintain speed without sacrificing quality or food safety
  • Communicate clearly with expo, prep cooks, and fellow line cooks to ensure smooth ticket flow
  • Anticipate needs during rush periods and restock station proactively
  • Keep workstation clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines
  • Assist with prep work, inventory rotation (FIFO), and end-of-shift cleaning
