The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef, and a food trailer to now operating restaurants nationwide. Line Cooks are the heart of the kitchen – where our Damn Good food is made from scratch every day! In a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, you’ll be responsible for mastering various stations including Fry, Grill, Sauté, Steam, and Taco assembly. This involves ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection, grilling proteins to the correct temperature, managing sauté ingredients for flavorful dishes, operating steam equipment to maintain texture and flavor, and assembling each taco to meet high standards and guest expectations.
