Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience in a resort, hotel, or upscale restaurant setting
  • Strong teamwork skills and a guest-first mindset
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school degree or certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality meals in line with resort culinary standards and guest expectations
  • Execute dishes with precision, ensuring consistency, flavor, and visual appeal
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate food prep to align with peak service times, banquets, and special resort events
  • Support seamless communication between back-of-house and front-of-house teams
  • Prep ingredients for current and upcoming shifts with attention to efficiency and waste reduction
  • Address guest dietary needs and special requests with professionalism and care
  • Uphold the resort’s commitment to exceptional service in every dish served
