About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in cooking high-quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow their culinary skills. As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking menu items to spec, and maintaining a clean and efficient workstation throughout service.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience (line cook, prep cook, or similar role) preferred
  • Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety
  • Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies before service
  • Prepare ingredients as directed (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, making sauces)
  • Cook and plate dishes according to chef specifications and restaurant standards
  • Work in coordination with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station during and after shifts
  • Properly handle and store leftover food
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, with attention to quality and consistency
  • Communicate any issues (e.g., equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages) to the Sous or Executive Chef
