About The Position

Join Our Culinary Team! Calling Experienced Line Cooks -FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE! The Farmhouse Restaurant, located inside The Barn Resort is hiring experienced and passionate chefs/culinarians/cooks who are seeking opportunities to take their culinary skills to the next level. We're on the lookout for dedicated Line Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team and be a crucial part of our exciting culinary journey! What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of food safety practices. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality during busy services. Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Passion for culinary innovation and a desire to contribute to a unique and memorable dining experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
3+ years working knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage is preferred
ServSafe® Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
Willingness to learn and follow the direction of the Kitchen and General managers and be a team player
3+ years previous experience as a cook is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience in catering, buffet, and/or full-menu dining is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food
Clean and maintain the kitchen and its equipment
Comply with all food-handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines as provided
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working cooperatively with staff and guests
